Huge congratulations to Leonora Vesterbacka, PhD, Redpine’s founding data scientist, for being recognized as finalist for AI Swede of 2025 (Årets AI-Svensk).

Leonora has been instrumental in Redpine’s journey, laying the foundation for valuation and pricing of data for AI training in this emerging market.

Before Redpine, she was leading the work of developing the most advanced Swedish speech-to-text model to date, KB-Whisper.

Leonora, alongside finalists from TechSverige including Marcus Wallenberg and Anton Osika, is contributing to advancing Sweden’s standing in the global AI arena.
